Summer NAMM 2017 Wrap-Up

Every year, NAMM (the National Association of Music Merchants) hosts two music industry trade shows in the U.S. The first is The NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, held in January; the other is Summer NAMM in Nashville, Tennessee, in July. This is our Summer NAMM 2017 wrap-up.

Summer NAMM 2017 took place Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 13th – 15th this year at Music City Center in Nashville. Vendors from all over the world were there showing off their newest products as well as their time-tried favorites. Some of the things we found that we’ll be offering in the coming weeks and months we’re keeping secret until they arrive. Others, however, are listed below with some of our initial thoughts.

MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe

Like the original Carbon Copy, this is an analog delay pedal, but it now has a delay that can be extended up to 1.2 seconds. It’s now got tap tempo, too! That, plus the ability to use the original carbon copy tone, or the new Bright version, make this a great pedal we’re sure you’ll want.

Gravity Picks are handcrafted and affordable. People have been asking us to carry this line of picks, and we grabbed this set at NAMM. Each pick is hand-shaped and buffed at the company’s shop in California.
