Description
This 1995 Taylor DCSM Dan Crary Signature Model Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar has been gently owned and is in excellent cosmetic shape with light, normal wear! A handful of minor pressure dimples on the body can be detected upon close inspection, but it’s overall very clean! Neck is straight as an arrow and the first few frets show light play wear. Very light checks can also be found in the bass-side neck binding. A few tiny, barely visible indentations can be found on the back of the neck and Looks, plays and sounds fantastic!
This was one of the first Taylor signature models – it is based on an 810ce and features a slightly thinner, hand-shaved top with non scalloped braces for a more punchy tone and tighter bass response, and more balance in general than a typical dreadnought. It was designed by Taylor specifically to have a “robust treble and midrange response,” giving it a more balanced sound than a traditional dreadnought guitar, and to minimize bass feedback when played through microphones for stage and recording. And the cutaway allows the player to make full use of of the responsiveness.
