Hans Nordelius founded Nord in 1983 when he created the Digital Percussion Plate 1 – the first drum pad capable of dynamic playing using sampled sounds. Today, the company produces a variety of stage pianos, synthesizers, and organs in addition to a full suite of software to mange and produce music. Blues Angel Music is proud to offer the full Nord line to the Greater Pensacola Area.

Nord’s stage pianos come in four different configurations to suit the needs of every professional musician. The Nord Stage 3 features award-winning technology and a blend of many features found in several of their other lines. The Nord Grand has premium weighted keys with triple sensors and unmatched precision. The Nord Piano 4 has expanded voice polyphony and virtual hammer technology. The Nord Electro 6 has three independent sound sections, seamless transitions, and acoustic emulation packed in an ultra-portable package.

Synthesizers include the Nord Wave 2, a four-part synthesizer with virtual analog synthesis, samples, FM and wavetable with a layered interface. The Nord Lead A1 combines an analog modeling engine with a clean user interface for fast-track performance. It’s addictive. The Nord Drum 3P is an expressive six-channel drum synth with an amazing dynamic response.

The Nord C2D organ comes with two sets of physical drawbars per manual, realistic simulations of B3 tone wheel, Vox, and Farfisa transistor organs as well as a beautifully sampled baroque pipe organ. The Nord Pedal Keys 27 is a 21 pedal MIDI board with integrated swell. The Nord Piano Monitor speaker system is designed by Nord and engineered for optimal dynamic reproduction of the electric and acoustic pianos in the Nord Piano Library.
