Limited to just 900 guitars worldwide, this extraordinary guitar is a recreation of Peter Frampton’s famously lost and rediscovered 1954 Les Paul Custom. Thought permanently lost in a plane crash, then found and rebuilt, Frampton dubbed it “The Fenix” after the mythological bird. This very special run of guitars is loaded with Epiphone’s ProBucker pickups in the neck and middle, with a powerful Pro Ceramic in the bridge position for searing lead tone. The resonant, weight-relieved mahogany body and hard maple top make for the classic Les Paul tonewood combination and the LockTone tune-o-matic bridge ensures maximum string to body vibration transfer.
