Description
This 2020 Fender Player Lead II Electric Guitar with Seymour Duncan pickups and coil split mod has been very gently owned and is in excellent condition with minimal weaar! Normal pick scratches on the pickguard and a few tiny, barely visble pressure dimples at the treble-side lower bout can be detected under close inspection, but it’s otherwise super clean! Looks, plays and sounds fantastic!
Our master luthiers professionally modded the guitar by replacing the Player Series Stratocaster single-coil pickups with a Seymour Duncan Little ’59 mini-humbucker in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. mini-humbucker in the bridge position. The two-way phase switch has also been converted to a coil split for the neck pickup.
In response to high-quality, low-priced import guitars, Fender created the Lead Series in 1979, featuring a new solid-body design, hard-tail bridges and cool new wiring options. Appealing to a wide variety of players, the sleek new Lead models kicked off a fresh creative era in Fender’s history.
The Player Lead Series offers style, power and versatility in a comfortable, easy-to-play package.
