Description
This ’90s Shadow Electric Guitar w/ Thunder Red Finish is in very good cosmetic shape with light, normal wear! Minor scratches and pressure dimples can be found throughout, but it’s overall clean and very structurally sound. Neck is straight as an arrow and frets show little to no wear!Interestingly, the exact model is unknown. Despite our best efforts, another like it could not be found, suggesting this one is something of a rare bird! It was purchased from Music Cavern in Beenleigh, Australia and may be a model that was not available for purchase in the American market. Based on our research, ’80s Shadow guitars were built in the company’s German factory and that later guitars were manufactured elsewhere. This was confirmed when we pulled the neck, which was shown to be made in Switzerland. The exact year of manufacture cannot be confirmed, but similar models were made in the ’90s. One thing is certain, however – this one looks, plays and sounds great!
The original truss rod cover has been replaced with a Kramer Pacer Custom II cover and the tremolo bar is absent. Gig bag included.
