The Pearl River PE121 49” studio piano with a two-tone blend of ebony polish and Sapele Mahogany Accents. This model is suitable for players at any level. The strategically off-set back posts provide greater strength in the treble section of the piano where the most tension exists, and less tension in the bass, providing pleasingly-even tone across the entire piano. Experienced craftspeople notch the bridge by hand. Premium German felt is used for the hammerheads, and butcher-block construction with spruce is used for the keybed, designed to withstand heavy use.
