Description
Overview
The Descent W from Reverend Guitars masterfully bridges the gap between baritone and standard-length playability. Bolted onto Reverend’s classic and tonally satisfying korina body, the 26.75-inch maple neck will supply your fill of thunderously low tones when tuned down, without venturing too far away from the feel of a standard-scale guitar. Utilize Reverend’s iconic bass roll-off to expertly tone shape any pickup position, and maintain your treble at all volumes thanks to the built-in treble bleed. Built with the utmost quality and attention to detail, Reverend equipped the Descent W with their classic low-profile dome knobs to reduce strumming impediments. Additionally, the Descent W includes a dual-action truss rod with easy headstock access, a Boneite nut with pin-lock tuners for maximum tuning stability, and a Wilkinson WVS50 IIK Tremolo bar with an adjustable Vari-claw system for a smoother or more firm feel. Descent W feels like you’re still playing a guitar, while providing that serious growl and thump you’ve been longing for.
