This Korean-Made 2002 Samick Greg Bennett Rio Grande Series D-15E Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar w/ Gig Bag has been previously owned and shows noticeable, but normal wear one would expect with a working musician’s instrument. Scratches, dings and pressure dimples are present throughout, but it’s aesthetically pleasing with its cool, road worn vibe – tone of mojo! Neck is straight as an arrow and frets show little to no wear. Structurally sound and in excellent playing condition! Sounds great! Road Runner deluxe padded gig bag is in great shape. Breaking with tradition can be a difficult task, especially in the guitar business. There are certain things that you just don’t change.With all this in mind, Samick forged ahead anyway. The band of turquoise dyed maple herringbone: the combination of traditional maple with the turquoise is just plain beautiful. On the performance side, the used a quarter sawn, solid cedar top for a more delicate low mid sound, and fitted it with scalloped top braces. The bracing frees up the top for faster attack and longer sustain. The sides and back are highly figured Ovangkohl, for a full, rich bass response with lots of power.
