Audio-Technica designs and manufactures some of the world’s best professional microphones, headphones, turntables, and other audio equipment, and Blues Angel Music is proud to provide this gear to Pensacola and online.

Hideo Matshushita founded Audio-Technica in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan in 1962 because of his love for music and the high price of quality listening equipment at the time. In 1972 the company took root in the United States with a facility in Fairlawn, Ohio. It was from here that the company shipped VM phono cartridges to the European market. By 1974 headphones were added to the product line and in ‘78, microphones were added. 

Audio-Technica has been the audio supplier for many high-profile events including the 1996 to present Summer Olympic Games, the 2002 to present Winter Olympic games, the Grammy Awards between 1998 and 2013 and more.
