Here at Gittler Instruments that change has finally come after 4 decades. We are proud to introduce our newest model, the Gittler T2!
The T2 is a small, one might even say “minimal” departure from our design aesthetic. Here at Gittler Instruments we consider ourselves to be at the forefront of minimalist design. We believe that by stripping away the artifice and convention attributed to the common guitar, that we have opened up new pathways to creativity.
In the case of our new T2 design we have endeavored to provide our customers with a more economical approach, while still maintaining the Lion’s share of our core principle. The guitar is extremely small and surprisingly light and portable. With a “foldable” design that enables a multitude of ergonomic possibilities, one can tailor the body shape to their style of play.
The guitar has two humbuckers of our own custom design, a three-way switch and a coil split. The tone is clean and neutral, with a diverse palette of options available to the player for shaping and molding their own personal signature sound. Add to this a locking tremolo and a unique headless design married to a new bridge concept…and you have the Gittler T2!
The chrome body and ebony fretboard provide a very striking look but what it has under the hood is what guitarists will fall in love with. This may be the world’s first “serious” travel guitar but even for those who don’t take their act on the road, it’s a great friend to sore backs and long playing sessions.
