Description

This 2000 Fender American Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar has been gently owned and is in excellent condition with light, normal wear! Minor scratches and a handful of tiny dings can be detected under close inspection, but it’s overall very clean! Neck is straight as an arrow and frets show little wear. Finish wear on the back of the neck can be found between the 5th and 7th fret positions and a few nicks along the treble-side edge of the headstock can also be seen. These imperfections are cosmetic in nature only and do not affect the functionality of the instrument. Very structurally sound! Looks, plays and sounds fantastic! Original hardshell case is in great shape with normal scuffs and scratches!
Introduced at Summer NAMM of 2000, Fender’s newly-minted American Series Stratocaster saw numerous minor changes to the American Standard Strat’s platform, from pickguard and tuners to newly-designed pickups and the overall feel of the neck, with slightly rolled edges to make for a more “broken-in” feel. Once again, the guitars were offered with both alder and ash bodies, maple or rosewood fingerboards, and a plethora of finish options new and old.
