This USED W. Seifert 4/4 Size Octagonal Violin Bow is a beautifully crafted example of German bow making at its finest. It has been very gently owned and remains in excellent condition, showing only minimal signs of use.
Handmade in Bubenreuth, Germany, Seifert bows are known worldwide for their precision, balance, and tonal clarity. Each bow is individually crafted from Pernambuco wood that has been naturally dried for a minimum of 20 years in the Seifert workshop. Due to the meticulous handcrafting process, no two Seifert bows are exactly alike — every piece is unique in both appearance and response.
The Seifert workshop was founded in 1932 by Oskar Seifert, who studied under master bow maker Albert Renz in Erlbach. Today, the Seifert name continues to represent traditional German craftsmanship, offering professional players and discerning students exceptional quality and playability.
