This Vintage Yamaha CP70-B Electric Grand Piano has been well cared for and is in very good cosmetic shape with normal wear one would expect with vintage gear. In excellent playing condition! Comes with its road case attachments and sustain pedal.The CP-70 was first introduced to the market in the mid-1970s with production ceasing in the mid-1980s. This electric grand piano was developed to deliver the depth of expression of an acoustic instrument while holding its own when performing on stage with electric guitars. Very similar to a cut-down acoustic grand piano, the CP-70 features the same frame action and frame construction as an acoustic piano, but can be split into two cases for storage, and utilizes an electric guitar-style pickup system to pick up the sound for amplification via an amplifier. With its bright and edgy sounds the CP-70 is a piano that wants to be heard.
The Yamaha CP70B model (also known as the Yamaha CP-70B) included several improved features such as balanced outputs (hence the B added to CP70) and included an improved preamp.
